Lies behind the eyes exhibit by artist Lee Salvador

One of the most familiar aspect of the samurai is their mask. It is one of the most essential part of warfare not only as it provides protection but also gives the wearer a ferocious appearance to intimidate its enemies.

Resurface, not only is the artist’s iconographic signature prevalent, but the chair itself transforms into a focal subject, magnified in size and significance, in an acknowledging nod to the material seats and the seemingly limiting situations many of us have found ourselves in due to the pandemic.

Nilay-Nilay, Maglalang's new work are subconscious peering of the soul.

In this exhibit, the artist ask us to contemplate about life, its journey, and passions.

For his 5th solo exhibition, while still in the midst of the pandemic, Bañares thought of honoring these plain but worthy mortals as Unknown Heroes by featuring them on canvas enough to be emulated at the same time feted with utmost pride from the honest toil that they do and the unconditional love they possess.
